I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I am interested in machine learning in general, with a recent focus on large scale machine learning algorithms and systems. My Ph.D. dissertation is about using sequential decision making techniques (e.g., multi-armed bandit) to accelerate large scale machine learning (e.g., large language model training). I am very fortunate to be advised by Professor Barzan Mozafari.

I am currently working at Meta to build scalable machine learning models and systems to solve real-world challenges. During my Ph.D. study, I also spent several summers as an intern at Microsoft and Meta.
